Canon 7 camera body.
This camera is in a good shape, yet there are a few issues. Camera has a clear VF, accurate RF and shutter works at all speeds. Slow speeds may not be right on, but are pretty close as far as I can tell. I didn’t have any problems with exposure. Shutter curtains are in a very good shape – slight marks but no wrinkles. Well, there a two small ones, but I wouldn’t even call them wrinkles, just small indentations, that don’t affect function. Hard to find shutter in this condition. Overall – it’s a very good user camera. Meter is active and fairly accurate, but I cant say it’s 100% reliable. Some marks on the top plate and front of the top plate. Middle window for frame illumination was re-glued and has signs of that. Biggest issue – frameline switch. When I got this camera – it was not working and wheel that switches frames was literally glued to the body. So, I took it all apart and best I could do, short of getting all new top plate was to make a screw go through the wheel and hold it that way, while it can still change frames. Drawback – when you change frames now – number in a small window on a top doesn’t change – it always says “50”, but marks on the wheel will remind you where to turn it. 35mm on it’s right and 85/100 and 135mm to the left of 50. While it works fine for me – I cant promise it’s the best fix, so you can try something else. Plus I Cant promise that this fix will work forever – future service for it may be needed. All I can tell you that it works now as I described.. In other words – framelines can be changed now, but it’s not as pretty as it’s supposed to be. Selftimer works fine. Wind and rewind are smooth. And overall, if you can overlook a couple of cosmetic issues – it’s a very good camera. See pics. Lens is in great condition – glass is clean – no scratches, marks, fungus, etc. Blades clean. Everything is smooth. This a great lens, and only reason I sell it – I just got me a 21/2.8 lens.
