the v3 summicron could indeed be one of the unsung heros of the leica lens line, often found with the black paint coming off the barrel but with clean optics just like mine. This lens is great for black and white and gives that all desirable classic look with the added bonus of zero flare in a very compact body. Got to love that.

Man oh man... seriously thinking about snapping up that lens.
I want a summicron so bad...
only thing that slightly worries me is the extra long focus throw.

Hmm...it sounds like I might have overpaid for this lens. I'm not sure what the going market rate is, but I just lowered the price to $1025.
