After using M8 for awhile and now I have a decent set of M-Mount lenses, it is time for me to say goodbye to my proudly-own Contax G2 and lenses. All of the Contax G2 gears are Mint condition if not Like-New condition. I really thought that I would never let go of my G2 because it gives me such good results every time I use and the Carl Zeiss Gems are simply the best! Now I have moved to M8 from R-D1s(sold here not too long ago), I do not want to carry two different types of lenses in my bag – M-mounts and G-Mounts. My collection is pretty much complete G2 kit except Hologon G16 and G2D Data back.
Please note that all of the G-Mount lenses will come with all the accessories like original Contax Filter, metal hood, metal hood cap and leather pouch(except G21).
I am taking advantage of this chance to get rid of other M-Mount gears and Misc. stuff as well.
I would like to sell the G2 Camera(hopefully G2 + G28 + G35/45 + G90 as a set) first then sell the rest of the lenses. I will give priority to the people who want more items then others.
Local Pick-ups are welcome – I work in Santa Clara, CA and I live in Milpitas, CA
PayPal is fine with 3% fee.
I would probably use USPS Priority w/ optional Tracking or Insurance if requested – let me know what services you want at the time of purchase, please. However, I will consider FedEx or UPS if the value is about $500.00 and more than 5 lbs total purchase.
I will only charge actual shipping from CA 95035 zip code so you can try to calculate on your own or let me know then I will do my best to provide you with the shipping cost with any extra services that you desire.

You can think of it as P-5000 model since it has 80GB Hard drive instead of 40GB. The P-5000’s MSRP is $699.99!!! You are getting the virtually the same unit for less than ˝ the price!!! I did the HD upgrade and you can actually upgrade it up to 120GB. I will also provide the OS image files on a DVD so you can later upgrade or repair if the HD gets damaged(service that you do not get from EPSON!) I have never seen such an awesome LCD!! It also plays MP3s/Movies if they are encoded correctly. It can also support memory cards other than SD or CF with CF adapter or USB readers. The only drawback for me was that this does not support M8 DNG files but if you do M8 DNG+JPG, then you can view the files fine. Like New In the Box with never-used Extra Battery(I just received it yesterday!)

I have recently purchased ZM Biogon 2.8/28 which is over one full stop slower but I personally like Zeiss so I am letting ULTRON go. This lens is in EXCELLENT condition in the box and it comes with Voigtlander LTM adapter and Kenko UV Filter.

This probably the fastest tripod! I have never used any other tripod which is fast in getting it in the setup and getting it back on your shoulder! It has some bright-marks in the legs but still in EXCELLENT condition. Comes with the original box.

I believe that this Ballhead is the 2nd generation. Pictures shows with Arca-Swiss type RSS quick release, but I am keeping the RSS QR. Instead, I will include the original Manfrotto Quick Release in one of the picture. Comes with box.

I bought this thinking that 1Ds MkII will consume the battery like the original 1Ds but I was wrong. 1Ds MkII can take about 1,000 shots with one battery. So I have used this battery maybe 3 times and just stays in my bag. Making the situation worse, now I use M8 most of the time. Bought it new and it comes with the box.

Extra Strap – Excellent
It comes with total two(2) straps – one in Black and the other in Grey. I believe that the grey one was from G1. There are a few dust particles in the viewfinder. I once asked Contax Repair man to see if it can be cleaned but he suggested using as is. He told me that it is quite a bit of work to disassemble and it would come back later again. So I left it as is and it does not affect the result in any way. Full Box Set with papers.
