This is an excellent starter lens. It has been modified to bring up the 35MM frame line and 6 bit coded as a 35. It is super clean with no marks and includes both a front and back lens cap and a B W 486 UV/IR filter (40.5mm) and hood. It produces very sharp pictures and compares very well, better in my opinion, and I owned both, than the CV 40/1.4.
