I am selling a black Leica M8, like new with fancy box, manuals, all original equipment. It comes with an extra battery.
I have owned it for 6 months and it's been used so little - it just isn't my thing. I'm a wedding photographer, and I am partial to my D3. This M8 has well under 1,000 actuations. I'm selling it at a serious discount. It is in perfect condition. Not a single problem. Really neat camera, very portable and discreet.
I also have a flash for the camera - it's the Leica 24D flash. NEVER used. LOL. Retails for $349 from B&H. It's available for sale for $235.
Leica is now offering a program that allows you to get updates for the M8 when they are offered, so it's likely to be the latest and greatest camera that Leica has to offer for quite some time to come. Eventually you'll even be able to upgrade the sensor.
I am selling a barely used 50mm f/2.0 Summicron lens. I bought it from KEH as a "used" lens, but it was actually new in box when I got it. Not a single mark on it, all original box, packaging, etc. Probably sat on someone's shelf. I have the UV filter for it from Leica, as well as another one that I will include. It's an excellent lens that gives you a ton of options for whatever you're planning to photograph. I'm selling that for $475
I included two photos that I took with the M8 and this 50mm lens. Black and white photos are amazing and Leica's claim to fame, but I wanted you to see that color photos can look amazing too. The Leica shoots in DNG files, which is very convenient to work with in Lightroom, Aperture, or Photoshop.
These are in pristine condition. The retail price would be around $6700 (plus applicable tax) if you were to purchase the camera, lens, flash, and extra battery new. And these really are new.
Shipping cost depends on what you buy. I take paypal, but all payment must clear before I ship. I prefer to ship to US residents, but willing to do Canada and the UK as well.

What is the serial number of the Summicron or do you know which generation it is?
Do you happen to have larger version of the pictures of the lens to share?

The serial # is 3954435.
However I've gotten about 15 emails LOL and I have a list together in order. I will give preference to someone who desires the entire kit, so I'm not selling the lens separately at this time. If the camera goes alone, then I will start emailing those on the list to buy the lens
