Not travelling to Australia anytime soon? I'll buy it This is a very tempting camera in great condition and at a very realistic price.

Actually, I am looking at traveling there in November but I expect the camera will be sold long before then.

FYI, I sold my MP last week to a photographer in Melbourne. I mailed the package on Thursday (USPS) and he had by Monday morning. It was a holiday weekend, too!

Cindy,
Did you send it insured and with some means of tracking it. I know USPS can be the least costly but if it gets lost it can also be the most costly to try and recover since once they deliver it to a foreign post office it is out of their hands.

Hunghang,
If I sell it to you, how would you want it shipped? It would need to be insured and shipping would probably be expensive except by USPS.

As I explained, I decided to raise the price but because you made me an offer before I raised the price I sold it to you at the old price.

"newer, quieter shutter" ?
Did Leica confirm that? I never heard of it - other than the upgrade of course...
Thanks

If you check on LUF you will find other that have gotten recent cameras and also have an older camera and the shutter sound is now more refined. Search for my name barjohn threads and I posted the sound difference. It still isn't quite as quiet as the new 1/4000th shutter but very close. Especially since most of the noise is now in the rewind.
