Description:

Update: price drop to $450; if there's no interest at $450, she'll go to ebay.
I've got some LTM/M lens overlap, and I'm not using my LTM bodies much, so I'm offering a few items here.
This is fairly clean Canon 7S body. You can find lots written about this camera here on the forum and elsewhere on the interweb. I think it was the most advanced rangefinder of its time, and I find it a very useful camera with a great feature set. The 7S adds a very nice onboard light meter and accessory shoe to the inner/outer dual bayonet mount first seen on the previous Canon 7. Introduced just as SLRs were taking over the market, relatively few 7S bodies were produced.
I'm just not using LTM equipment much, and I'd rather see in the hands of someone who might use it more than I.
I bought this used last year, and had it CLAd at Essex after I received it. Speeds and meter are accurate for negative film, film advance/rewind is smooth, finder is bright and clear with contrasty RF patch and good framelines. First shutter curtain is smooth with minor marks, second curtain has only 2 small pokes.
The only mechanical fault I can find is very minor: when changing framelines, the frame selector ring cover sometimes rotates slightly so that the selected frameline number (35, 50, etc) may not be centered under the cut-out. I suspect it's a minor fix, but it never bothered me enough to look into it.
Just a few very minor cosmetic flaws to note. There are some light marks on the bottom plate, and some paint missing from the head of one of the front body screws. There is also some very light, scattered peppering on the top plate between the film advance lever and shutter release housing.
Included are the body and Canon body cap only, as shown. I do not have on original box or instructions.
Price of $450 is all-in, including paypal fees and USPS Priority shipping to the domestic US and Canada. I'm happy to ship worldwide; please add $15 for international destinations.
Payment by paypal only, please.
As always, I'm happy to answer any questions, but the first "I'll take it" at the asking price gets the item.

Great price for a relatively clean 7S that's been recently serviced. I rarely see these babies for sale especially with working meters and fairly nice shutter curtains. Good luck to the seller and the fortunate Canon buyer.
