1 - SOLD - Leica M3 single-stroke, S/N 1158379. According to the Leica serial number page on CameraQuest.com, this puts it in the third-to-last batch of M3s produced, more specifically 1966. Now, first: THIS IS NOT FOR THE COLLECTOR! Second: I bought it in August last year on the 'bay from an Austrian dealer. He claimed it had just had a complete 220 EUR CLA from Foto Wiener in Munich, including rebuilding the shutter. When I received it, however, it had lots of small droplets on the rangefinder patch. Looked like some kind of liquid. I sent it off to Youxin Ye for another CLA. He wrote:
"The M3 is CLA'd. the PV lever did not move to change frames at all and the finder was dirty. When I took the framemask out, I found out the person prior did CLA put a lot oil in the camera and containminated the framemask. I cleaned those gum oil residues off and the finder is clean and clear working now. Except at upper right 50mm frameline there is still some residue there which cannot be cleaned off anymore.
But it is not distracting and does not hurt normal usage at all.
It is my first time to CLA the last batch M3. The camera indeed is in high quality with the last improvements different from older M3's. A very impressive camera."
(Had Youxin not pointed out the residue left, I would never have noticed.)
Minor issue: When using a 50mm lens, some of the 135 frameline is showing. It's probably easily fixed, but it hasn't bothered me.
Cosmetically, the camera looks heavily used. It HAS visible dents, dings, scuffs, scratches.. you name it. Vulcanite is missing at a few places (I had it covered with black tape). See the pictures.
Mechanically and optically, it's great. VF & RF are clear & bright, alignment is accurate, shutter speeds are accurate, advance is smooth. I've shot a few dozen rolls and never had a problem.
For me, it's the perfect user. And the camera fetishist in me appreciates cameras that look like they have some real history behind them.
Included with the M3 is a generic body cap and a hand grip from China - one of these:

Asking 430 EUR, plus shipping. Insured, registered shipping within Europe is ~25 EUR, rest of the world ~27 (this is the actual shipping cost). I hope it's a fair price - otherwise, just silently ignore this ad until I lower it..
2 - STILL AVAILABLE! - Konica M-Hexanon 50/2. Excellent condition, both cosmetically and optically. Smooth focus. I bought it from Paul Brodek (PCB_RF) here on RFF not long ago to go with the M3. Includes caps & Hoya UV filter. Built-in hood. Asking 275 EUR (= ~420 USD). Insured & registered shipping is ~18-19 EUR (~27-29 USD) everywhere.
I'll split the PayPal fees and will do what you wish to minimize customs problems, if necessary. EU buyers can also pay using bank transfer.

I have a more mint looking one (not a late model like yours), and it is a real pain to always be worrying about scuffing it. Yours would be a lot more fun to shoot with, and it sounds like it is in wonderful shape. A fantastic camera for a photographer.
