Smile Photography Fair Central Camera Chicago

News that's old but still good: the traditional camera store from Chicago, Central Camera is holding a photography fair this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1 & 2. Usually it's the best moment to go, play with some toys we've seen online, meet with camera maker representatives and reap some silly goodies, like pens and other little things (I have a Nikon felt tip marker in one of my bags, and it's come in handy several times).

Did I mention they either give you a 10 % discount on items or pick up the sales tax on these photography fairs?

Well, now you know.

You can also take a peek at their used items. They're a bit expensive, but I've never had a problem with them and their warranty runs out in a year, not just 90 days.

Now... I was planning to go, but I'm still a bit sick. However, those in the Chicago vecinity should go and have fun. Besides, Chicago is a rich, photogenic town this time of the year, and the Kris Kindle Markt is open and in full swing right now... among other things.

Take care!

I have actually bought a couple things from them, through phone purchase They had the contax G 45mm on sale there last year for only $150 or so.. brand new. Also picked up my ZI through them when it was first released. They are very helpful on the phone and ship quickly
