6x Rodenstock Loupe. Strangely, I'm pretty psyched. Been working more and more on my wetplate work, and this loupe has been on my list of necessities for awhile now. Hope it improves my critical focus.

Just 'won' this on Ebay

US Army Signal Corps Kodak 35 PH-324.

Looks like it's going to get the CLA+Repaint treatment

Only recently 'discovered' rangefinders, I decided I wanted something just the tiniest bit lighter and smaller than my Lynx 14E. Not the most groundbreaking purchase in history, but fits in my hands like it was tailor-made, so I'm happy

I have such a lens in Canon FD mount. It is a great lens. On the M4/3 system you get a 180mm-360mm macro zoom.

An AI-converted, F-mount, Vivitar Series 1 135mm f/2.3. I admit freely that it was something of an impulse buy; on the other hand the urge to splash out on a 135mm f/2 DC has diminished greatly so it's all to the good.

raid,

I saw your earlier comments, which encouraged me to buy the copy from here the other day.

I'm hooking it up to an OMD m43 for my first real excursion into macro photography.

Thank you sir!

I received the Viv 90-180 FF and am just shocked by how good it is on the EM-5 even hand held.

The EM-5 IS really works, in fact, I have added a Vivitar 120-600 and love it also.

Bought a Leitz SM series microscope. The scope is from Leitz black enamel finish series of microscopes that got their start back in the 1930's. The serial number on mine puts the build date in 1961. This should be fun to restore.

I just bought a very nice clean Leica M2 on eBay. I just had to find out what all the M2 talk was about. I really need to sell rather than buy. - Jim

Bought (finally) a Nikkor-S.C 8.5cm ƒ1.5.

I can't describe, how crazy curious I am, how this lens turns out and compares to the late, black Canon 85/1.8 and the 75 Summilux!

I am scanning the whole internet for a lens hood for days now, makes the waiting for logistics more easy …

I just bought a Leica Hektor 4/135. It is wonderful. A friend talked me into a trip to Arlanda Airport for some flight spotting. On a Leica M8 it would be around 180mm. Stepped down to f8 to f11 it is quite a bit sharper than I anticipated. Not bad for a lens 58 years old.

I didn't actually "buy" it, but my brother just gave me his Hasselblad kit (which has been dormant since around 1985), with which I'm having a lot of fun. I thought the looking down thing, and square, would be a nice inspirational change, and that's turning out to be the case.
