James, I really like window-light portraiture and this portrait is very well done. Your subject is photogenic and the lighting imparts a wonderful well modulated glow, all to most pleasing effect in B&W. Very nice portrait.

I had my daughter Etta take the first photo with my "new" Mamiya C330. She nailed the focus, which isn't easy to do shooting a manual focus medium format camera at f/2.8
I just quickly guessed this exposure, so it's a bit underexposed and the film is old very expired Kodak Pro 100. It probably could have used another stop of exposure.

Maybe, but I like the look despite not being "optimum" exposure. She did well.

My Rolleiflex wasn't in working order for very long (I bought it at a swap meet for $45, the mirror was missing, and shutter jammed. I fixed it ... sort of.)

This picture has got to be my favorite, cause it is very personal and nostalgic for me. Life was much simpler in the last century.
