Bummer! One member received my postcard but with part of the image scraped off. I'll be sending him a replacement but in an envelope.

Anyone else who ends up receiving a postcard from me in a mangled condition, just PM me your address. I'll be more than happy to replace it.

It appears my postcards are not getting any respect from the postal system. They're not treating it with kid gloves like Keith's postcards! The one I'd received from Keith looks like it just came off the printer. Except for the stuck on bar code on the address side, there's no indication that it even went through the postal system. There's not even a postmark!!!

I'm 'on the job' in NYC and will be home Tuesday. I'll start mailing out cards on Wednesday so Kevin I can assure you your email will make it onto my list.

I expect more cards are in the mailbox at home.

Sorry to hear about your cards, but good to know my cards are going through without a scratch... I'll make sure I go that same post office and chat with the same postal worker for Part 3.

I stsrted with orderring postcards, which will be followed by getting stamps. This is lots of fun, with the expectation to receive cards from several countries.

moo just delivered, so I'm addressing now and will send out in the next couple of days.

moo card stock is great! Less happily, the printing is quite a bit lower in contrast than I expected.

i have finally selected a shot (it's also from an "exotic country", ampguy - but i'm sure you won't include in your kids' educational material ) and ordered the cards via vistaprint. I just can't get the darkroom together in time...
Though i had to order 100, the minimum so the question is, what do i do with the 40+ leftovers??

Curiousl to see the result. But it WILL take lots of time...i hoped for a few days but in the end the promise is 3 weeks (i went cheap with delivery)

Had my cards done by Vistaprint and they came through in about a week - slow postage option too.
Reasonably pleased with the results as you might agree when my card arrives with you.

Addressed them all today and dropped them off at the Airport Post office. Off they go.

So far I've received cards from :

Jim C, Ted M, Keith L, Michael C, Harry T and John C from the UK.

Really a nice variety of shots, well done all!

Kent

PS- Quite pleased with the Moo printing and turnaround. Card stock is awesome.

Received jesse1dog's and Harry's cards today. Unfortunately jesse1dog's card got bent in one corder, otherwise beautiful image and nice design on the back, too! I also have gotten Ted's, Keith's (CA), and mgchan's cards, all amazing photos. My count is 4:1 bw:color.

I got seakayaker1's wonderful postcard today. It's just amazing to see everyone's decisive moment and point of view. This is better than going to a gallery. In this case, each one of us is walking away with the "originals."

It is an interesting post project since 58 cards are sent out on the same day by someone, and then 58 receivers await the cards. I have received 4 cards while other have received more than four cards. Why?

It may be worthwhile to create an album just with these 58 postcards.
