Leica Classic Rewind "Play"

Hi.

So my MP arrived today. And when I lift up the rewind knob, it becomes slightly loose.

im in the same camp as this guy http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-...mp-should.html

My rewind knob AND preview lever's a wee bit loose. Hmm though the preview lever on my M7 and M6 exhibit a meagre amount of play

Glad to hear its normal for the knob to be a wee bit loose when lifted.

Though on my M2, its a bit loose when the know is retracted. On my MP, when retracted, it snuggly fit ( no play ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le6KQ...e_gdata_player

The M2 has had a Wasserman lever for the past 30 years !
