The fact that an SLR forum can make it into the top 10 of THE Rangefinder place on the internet says so much about why I like this place.

Lets be honest here and just call number ten how it really is ... after all what other SLR has ever been called an honourary rangefinder?

Come to think of it ... who was responsible for that gem?

Thank you. Very interesting statistics. I suppose this is the view of the total back to 2003? But what is going on today?
As we don't have direct access to the underlying database, I have no clue how we could make a statistic of the actual top ten fora, rather than the overall total since the system was set up. Definition for "actual": Sum of new or living threads in a forum in the last 365 days (or whatever time frame you like).

Are there some unknown (search) functions which could deliver these results?

Actually it was an anonymous, devious and stealty Fujica ST user trying to keep the secret of the ST line (expecially the ST 801 and 901) hidden from the undeveloped masses.

Actually, the Olympus line, and primarily the OM1 do get a lot of well deserved attention. If Fuji had made more (I didn't say better) lenses, and more importantly, if they had advertised them more agressively, it might have been a different story.

(Of course if fullfrogs had wings they wouldn't bump their butts on the ground)

Bob, my money is on this ending in a version of film vs. digital.

i reckon that if there were a separate bag forum, it might have sneaked into the top 10 ...

I'm surprised one of the top threads isn't "Which version of the 35 Summicron should I get?"

FSUs @ #6? Really? Yeesh.

Well, it has been a rebuilding year for us. (ehhh, okay, eVeRy year is a rebuilding year for FSUs.) The Motherland is still going through difficult times, but with a good recruiting season and a substantial production run of yak hair string, next year we could ease into the top 5.

there are lots of bag threads but they usually peter out quickly.
top ten is measured by number of replies.
