I'm curious on how many bodies a person has. Sorry if this poll is already out there.

Anyways, I have one Leica M camera

Just the one actual Leica, an M3. If we're counting any M-mount, then it's two, I've an R4A too.

One's all I need.

I do enjoy my R-D1 though.

One M2 for 50mm, another M2 for 35mm.

A Hexar RF for 28mm, and a CL for 40 and 21mm.

And a couple of screw mount Leicas.

As many M's as my photographs need: 0. (For street 1 IIIF, 4 Bessas, 1 HexAF and 1 OlyXA...)

But a lot less M's than those I'd gladly use: (1 black M2, 1 black M3, 1 black MP and 1 black MP looking a la carte M7...)

I'm short of $20,000

Cheers,

Juan

OK, let's see:

2 x M3 (one DS, the other DS converted to SS)

M2

2 x M4

2 x M5

M4-2

CL (don't know if this counts or not)

Also, not Leica -- Hexar RF; CLE

Pretty bad, I know.

M3 and M6.
The Hexar RF and the Bessa T work with M lenses.

Bummer. I have an idea though how you could legalize two Ms: buy a Leica CL, say it "is not a real Leica M, it does not count." Keep CL for a short while. Sell CL, say "it was a real Leica after all, it says so on the top plate". Buy second M, "legally" ;-) Rinse and repeat.

Greetings, Ljós

A few.

An M5, an MP3, two M7s, two M9s and five MPs all in regular use. I've got an M2 on the way.

I still don't have one yet . Someday I hope.

If I were to unload all my gear I could easily fund one, it's just a matter of priorities for me right now.

There was a time when I considered that ownership of more than two was obscene...

2 x M5 (black n silver)
2 x M6TTL (ditto)
1 x M3 DS
1 x M4-2

I enjoy them all immensely. In fact, I'm having some serious trouble since my two M5 bodies are with DAG (one dead meter, one film counter broken) along with my emergency drug (my Nikon S2). However, not all is lost: I've gone back to my original Leica bodies and now I'm enjoying my M6TTL cameras.

I'd love to have two: Either two film (one for color and one for monochrome). Or, one M9 and one film M.

At the moment, I only have one film M. Having two is something that's just not in the cards right now.
