Old Nikon film scanner free to a good home

I put this in the Christmas give-away, but it was after Christmas so I don't think many people saw it.
I have a Nikon LS-30 film scanner that I would like to give away.
I'm giving it away, rather than selling it, because I'm not sure it works as well as it should. The scans don't seem to be contrasty enough. It could be user error. But Santa replaced it with a Plustek 7600 this weekend, so I'd like to find a home for this one.
All I ask is that the "buyer" pay for shipping. It's heavy and the box will be pretty big. So I'm thinking $25 for shipping in the U.S.

Comes with film and slide adaptors and cord. You'll need a SCSI card for it to work on your computer.

Too bad I'm in Europe! Good karma to you.

I don't mind shipping it overseas. But I checked with postal service and the estimate is twice the U.S. shipping rate.

Same, shipping would be a killer. You lucky Americans
I don't have a scanner but I think I can do fine without one.
