Helios 103 on a Bessa R2S

Hey

After more than one pm with our fearless leader, I decided to take the plunge and modify my Helios lens to work with my R2S.

After some fiddling (and the loss of the original screws) I managed to get a modified lens which I think works fairly well. I've attached some pics shot at Infinity (and one shot fairly close) today.

Thanks Brian!

(if you guys see anything in the pics that indicate that I did something wrong with the mod - let me know. Keep in mind that I used lucky colour film).

The pictures shown look good. To really test the lens, try a shot up-close and wide-open. You are not the first person to lose those little set screws. I keep a rare-earth magnet to recover mine if lost. Use a tray, with white paper towels as a buffer. And ice cube trays for storage.
