My Cable release doesn't trip the Horizon 202 shutter button

Dear film shooters

I have been shooting swing lens panoramas for a while now, have used Widelux F7, Horizon 203 and now 202. I have a few cable releases at home that worked fine with a Moskva 2 and Olympus OM1, but they don't work with the Horizon cameras. Apparently the rod is just not long enough. Do you know a particular model that does the job?

Please help.
Thanks a lot in advance

Btw, here's a book with swing lens panoramas on film that I finished recently.

perhaps go to a camera store and try out a few? older camera stores might have a greater variation...? dunno.

I was going to make some sort of joke about the Spanish Inquisition and its Monty Python counterpart but I just flipped through your book... cool stuff. do you have flickr or something?
