Ricoh Gr1s / GR1v questions

Hello,

I would like to ask about using filters with GR1s and GR1v. I understand that one can only use filters with the lens hood which serves also as filter holder. Now the question is whether one can only use the filters that were specifically produced for these cameras, or it is possible to use also other filters. If yes - what is the filter thread?

If I remember correctly the hood doesn't take filters, for that you'll have to have the separate filter adapter. Sorry can't remember the filter thread. Maybe 30.5 mm?

There is a filter adapter with a very fine thread that screws onto the lens, and it takes 30.5mm standard filters (which have a coarser thread).
