Berlin?

I am slowly discovering more and more RFFers from or living in Berlin/Germany. I have already had the chance to meet a few, but I'd like to know how many of you are out there.
speak up!

Dresden doesn't count, I guess, but I'm close enough for an occasional meet (hint, hint)...

Berlin, Avus, the 1990s: caught up in a traffic jam I ruined the car -- the car's cylinder head gaske didn't cope.

Now I live 886 km off Berlin

Hi, I am in Berlin too. From your avatar I guess I even saw you shooting some weeks ago near S-Bahnhof Friedrichstraße.

Let's take our cute camera and meet at the cute cake-/coffeshop in the Ackerstraße then, it's not like we're taken seriously anyway, right?

It should be possible for me too to make it at a Berlin meet. I am from Oslo. From here goes this excellent ferry to Kiel (http://www.colorline.com/ships_and_sailings/kiel_-_oslo ).

I guess it takes about 4 to 5 hours to drive to Berlin from Kiel, or...?

PS My wife and have booked a to and fro trip to Kiel one of the first weekends in June. Anyone here from Kiel?

Ach was. Jetzt kann Bonn wenigstens wieder im ruhigen Dämmerzustand liegen Schade nur, dass der Wegzug der Regierung nichts an den hohen Mieten hier geändert hat.

I've been thinking lately about a "shooting-day" in Berlin - I deem it worthy of few hours of driving.. I'll keep my eye on this thread.. :-)

I would be interested in a RF meeting day in Berlin. A Saturday or Sunday would be nice.

well I'm in Berlin more or less all of the time, so if any you folks feel like a beer & gear here and there, just say the day, the time, f8 and I'll be there. I see there's more than just one or two that would also be interested in a general meet in Berlin, maybe we could make an extra thread for that.

I am also in Berlin most of the time, but quite busy during the week. What about a meeting at the weekend as I tend to roam the streets then anyhow? What's that coffee and cake thing at Ackerstraße? Sounds nice. On the other hand I wanted to check out what is going on at the opening of Tempelhof on Sat.

On Sunday there's horse racing in Hoppegarten, does anyone feel like coming? I'm pretty sure I'll go.

Gho I'll be at Tempelhof as well. If you feel like it give me a call (0172 272 0174). Simon will you come?

martin
