Huascar is a monitor that belonged to peru, during the pacific war against this country, this extraordinary warship with his extraordinary commander made things almost impossible to the chilean war efforts.
After being chased by two more powerful but slower chilean battleships it was captured and put into national service, until today it`s fonded at the naval base of Talcahuano, south of chile.
It`s quite special since it`s one of the few surviving and almost usable monitor.
It`s history is surrounded by brave names and events from peru and chile and its regarded until today as a matter of relative conflict tween our nations.
Bye!
