Help. M6 Frameline issue.

So I have an M6 Classic and had an issue with the frameline mask sticking on the 50/75. And no matter what lens i would put on the camera [i have a 35 cron, 50 cron, 90 elmarit], the 50/75 would be the only visible framelines. moving the frameline preview level did nothing to change the framelines except move for parallax.

then, i took it in for repair and all was good. except i didn't have my 50mm to check - a friend borrowed it. but the 28 i tested worked and my 35 and 90 worked. moving the frameline preview worked.

then, i got my 50mm back, put it on the camera. and now, once again, the frameline masks are stuck as they were before my $100 repair.

one guess: There's something about my 50mm that's causing to jam something on my M6. Does anyone have any ideas?

one piece of info: i use the 50mm cron on my Minolta CLE. Any chance the CLE did something to the mount on my 50? So weird.

Send it back. Couldn't be the 50 doing this.

Yeah I agree with Richard. I had the same problem with jammed frameline. Mine was stuck with a 135/35mm framelines. I got it repaired by a local tech over here, and my M6 works like a charm once again!

I guess you have to go back to your repair man. Get him to check thoroughly.

you both are probably correct, it's just so weird that it was fine until after i put the 50 on it again. i thought these cameras were tanks, what's up with this issue? delicate design? doesn't seem very Leica.

Tanks also have parts whose adjustments are delicate. Tanks also need good maintenance and repair.
