I enjoyed this. Thanks for posting. Growing up during that time was frightening even if it was on the east coast of Canada. I remember as a young child that people of colour had to sit in the back of buses in our city. Didn't understand that mindset then and don't to this day. We've come a long way but we still have so many miles to go.

Most interesting. I wonder if exposure settings during such an era were a matter of Sunny-16 / Rule of Thumbs or did the Photogs have time to do a reading. Eg. in the first slide, car scene, could it be a sunny 16 + 1.5 EV for car interior ? raytoei
