Sorry for sending you out of the RFF Peter but somebody uploaded a great summary of 'good' Russian equipment online sellers.

Take a look here and scroll down the page to find a .txt attachment http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-...?msg_id=008sEU

BTW the author said he found the list in another forum as well, we're chaining jumps!

I've purchased from some of them and always with good results. A lot of the ones (if not all) included on that list offer a 15/30 days return warranty on their items.

And btw, beware of the Russian camera bug!

Thanks Taffer. I will read through the list carefully. I will try very hard to fight the Russian RF bug! Must resist the temptation of the Dark Side!

All my Soviet RF's have come out of Russia from ebay, I've had no real problems so far with the seller, most of them are very nice to deal with.... Welcome to the dark side

Thanks Darrel. Do you do the CLA yourelf or you have a technician do it for you? Do you know any good technician in Singapore other than Camera Workshop? I must take a look at your collection someday. Free for shoot this Saturday? By the way do take a look at my photos when you are free?

heh I"m trying to do the CLA myself! I think that's the fun of getting a russian camera. its cheap enough for you to dare to do crazy things like this! and I don't have a collection, its mainly SLR stuff that I have (Minolta) and 1 seagull TLR and this russian Fed 5. still waiting for bessa R3 to come out!

I've to work alternate sats and this sat happens to be my working sat so afraid I can't take up your offer, where you going to shoot?

We are going to Pulau Ubin and Sungei Buloh. My friends are into nature photography and I am going for landscape and people shots. By the way, how is the Seagull TLR? Is it worth the money? My dad used to have a Rolleiflex but I smashed the lenses when I was 5!

I've had multiple dealings with Oleg.... he's great to work with,
and incidentally, he's now taking repairs orders again:
