New Project-Fast Food

Hello All,
I have been working on a new project that I call Fast Food. The project is in it's early stages, however the concept stems from how fast food is a part of myself, and more importantly a part of urban survival. I was hoping that I could get some constructive criticism from the RFF community on what I have so far. Don't be afraid to be honest, particularly if an image doesn't belong, or if it is weaker than another. I want honesty, granted I'm a bit afraid to post up images, the internet can be so cruel. Anyway, tell me what you think, and let me know if you have any advice or suggestions.

1.

Fourth Plane is a road with many fast food destinations.

2.

Decisions, decisions...

3.

Making change.

4.

Young love lacks funds.

5.

Going out for Chinese food.

6.

Give us your money.

7.

In the lobby of Muchas Gracias.

8.

The warm glow of the menu.

9.

Ordering up.

10.

The man with the crazy hat.

Again, any advice/thoughts are both helpful and welcome. If the project totally sucks or lacks direction, don't be afraid to say it.

So far no brand copyright violations, that's good. I'm not sure I could see a direction with these, they are fairly routine shots except #2 & #3. #2 would lead me into a gallery, it's brilliant.
Also, I don't see any food yet, just customers and one worker.
It's a broad subject and one I will be interested to follow.
Excellent photos.
I hope this helps a little.

Joe, good subject, i had a look after coming outa the darkroom bout 30 minutes ago. thought i`d comeback and for what they are worth give my thoughts.

I think with no.1 you should not have to explain what the photo is about, perhaps if the traffic light pole is pointing to out of focus FFsigns or something that gives a hint as to where this image fits?
Like no3. but my eyes are instantly drawn to the left hand frame and the triangular part of the frame sticking into the subject. No 5 was a bit hard for me to decide what the main
subject is.
I think there is an unintentional self portrait lurking in no9? have a look ,is that your reflection in the door?
no 4 i like, the little boy is just enough out of focus and same with no10. And what ducky said about no2.
Fast food is busy, always stuff happening, perhaps a few with slower speed to convey this?
Oh, and stay away from cliches on this one - no really fat people huh.
Just some stuff to aid in thinking - i`m no expert.
regards
CW.

Sound advice. I'm really not trying to pick on anyone, that wasn't really what I was going for. I'm not trying to show that some people have gained weight by eating fast food, I'm trying to show that society has grown dependent on the fast food industry. I'm not exactly sure where that will take me yet, as I have just started on the project. What I think I'm trying to show is that fast food is neither good or bad, it is just a reflection of what society has become. When we are working hard, tired and hungry, sometimes we just need some fast food.
