Talking The Wait is over, I now have my Kiev III

Wow several months for a deal brokered through my brother another Russian Rangefinder head. I'll have to get back to you with the results of the first roll, but I am liking the heft and the relatively bright view finder. I have to order a lens hood and filter for the lens as well.

Which lens did you get with it?

No matter, the Kiev RFs are fine cameras and I expect you'll be quite pleased with this one. I'll look forward to seeing what you post from it.

Enjoy!

William,
I think its a Jupiter 8 or a 50/f2. Now at least it answered a question I had with a lens on my ContaxIIIa which was not a CZ Sonnar, it's not a Jupiter either. Back to my Kiev I took it out for some shooting after dinner by lake Ontario and I am using HP5 Ilford. I'll let you all know how it turns out.
