Arrow What is in your pocket?

It seems that more than one of us has got some sort of P&S in our pockets.

What do you have?

I have got an Olympus Stylus Epic/Mju II.

But I carry my GSN with me everywhere, on my shoulder, or sometimes the Kiev in a bag.

No P&S, but I normally have something in my bag.

Although it offends my sensibilities by not being a 'true' rangefinder, I find I carry around a Stylus Epic quite often. It's a well made, well designed, and *tiny* camera with a very sharp lens.

Typically an Olympus XA in one and an even smaller digital P&S.
And a Yashica GTN or Olympus 35 SP close by too. Never had pockets big enough for them though...

I'll second that. One is always in my over the shoulder bag.

My Motorola A1000 and keys. Strangely enough, I never really use the camera on the cell phone. I don't really have a habit of lugging a RF cam wherever I go.

I never go anywhere without a Yashica T-5 in my pocket, usually loaded with Tri-X. It gives results way better than a P&S should (some of my best shots!) but the years have taken their toll and it's going to die on me soon. I can't decide what I should replace it with. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Or purse. Actually, I think most P&S cameras would be a bit uncomfortable to actually carry everywhere in a pocket.

Help me out here, I don't know which one to put. Is the Olympus Stylus Zoom close enough or does that only count as "Something Else"?

The Stylus Epic is small enough for an average pocket, I think, or my pocket is bigger than the average.

That one is Something else, as I am curious about the number of Stylus Epics arond here.

Or if it is f2.8 at 35mm then it counts.

I only have one Stylus Epic, and the pocket it stays in isn't handy most of the time. However you're really leaving out some obvious contenders, with the Olympus XA series, digicams, minox/minolta/kiev etc 16mm's, (I want one, even if its not real practical.) The little minolta 16 & clones are sooo cute, I just dont have a lot of faith in foreign transactions, and all the ebay sales are out of Ukraine.

Had a Stylus Epic until I loaned it to my mother...don't think I'll ever get it back.
I always have something with me but in a bag or around my neck. If I'm really wanting small I'll laod the Agat 18.

Canon A70 digicam when someone else hasn't borrowed it, Kodak Retina IIa. But I usually have an RF in the car or bag or both.

Today it's an XA ... sometimes my Lomo or the camera that it was copied from the Cosina CX-1. I really like my Retina's but find them a bit on the heavy side for a pocket. I have more pocket sized cameras than I know what to do with. I tend to find them in thrift stores and pack them home. I have a little Minolta that takes fantastic photos but I can remember the model number off the top of my head ... something like PC-A ...
