My mobile phone cameras have always been totally and utterly pony - but when my eldest son decided to leave the pod four weeks early and with little warning, my phone was the only thing to hand:

And when, four years later, his brother and sister tried to beat his record by two weeks (and reduce delivery time to about two hours from panic to pop), the phonecam was again the only one there:

Nuts to micro-4/3 - the camera phone is the modern Pen.

This is pretty ghetto, but it's a photo of an IR400 negative on a white MacBook Pro screen and then inverted in PS. This counts, doesn't it?!

Why did I take this picture with my cellphone?
When I was advancing the film on my real camera to get ready to take the shot, I was like... aiya! out of film. Then I used my savior cellphone to take this shot instead.

A view of the moon and no it's not a volcano, it's a street lamp. HTC Sensation. Minimal post processing in LR, just exposure, contrast, sharpening and some noise reduction.

Sometimes a cell phone can get where an M cannot:
and sometimes it's just a matter of laziness: (do I really want to load the Rollei?)

sometimes, one has to resort to using a cellphone cam because the regular gear is at the "cleaners." An iPhone handled the work here...
