Wink CameraQuest can we get a real deal

CameraQuest offers this deal to RFF'ers: "FREE Shipping within the US for RFF members on NEW Voigtlander orders over $200" Pretty nice, eh?
Now look at the Front Page of CameraQuest's regular website for non RFF'ers:
"FREE US Shipping on NEW Voigtlander USA Orders over $200 placed through this site!"
So hey Stephen, can we get something better then the nobodies?

Wink

Well, in that case...

Can we possibly have reduced shipping to EU for RFF members tossed in as well, once we're at it?

"Nobodies"? So when did we who frequent RFF provide more to Stephen than those who don't? I suspect many here spend more money more often on gear amongst the RFF community.

Now I don't think that we as RFF members are entitled to anything special. But the offer on orders "placed through this site" is interesting on an order-by-email site that has no cart, checkout or buying facilities.

Yes, but international RFFers do get a break:
"or free shipping world wide on one NEW Voigtlander orders over $500. Give your RFF ID with order."
I don't see that offer on the regular site.

We did. No more $25 fees for a reasonable sized PM box.

to me, this is the sort of discussion that happens in private. if i want a deal i don't try to embarrass people in public, i negotiate quietly and remind them that i am sicilian.

seems to work well for me.

Cheers!

Stop the whining about this!
Stephen runs a great store and is a tremendous asset to RFFer community.
Getting free shipping regardless of the circumstances sounds good to me.

Exactly. Frankly, I'm just glad that CameraQuest is around. Sure, I've bought more from other members here, and nothing yet from CQ, but he's running a business.

But please, let's not kill any horses here Joe...

I guess your new deal is that you get to use this site on for free by Cameraquest's generosity (and marketing wisdom).
