Yasuharas for sale

The Lomo people have bought up the remaining Yasuharas, 600 bucks is too steep for me, unfortunately. Those are COOL cameras!!

www.lomography.com click on Yasuhara

They do look like pretty sweet little cameras.

haha. i just got their newsletter today!

600 bucks does look a little steep. specially through lomo.

i don't know, i would much rather settle for a used contax.

haha i can't make up my mind. the acceptance of other screw mounts does attract me.

Yes the price seems steep, but that is what Bessa r2's are selling for. It would come down to how good is the camera really? Any service available? Warranty?

I hate the lomo people...they overcharge more than Leica collectors , and for cameras that are pieces of junk normally...though I don't know about these cameras, I know I can get a pretty sweet camera for $600, and it may even have a history to it.

Next thing you know they'll start refurbishing Yashica Electros and sell them for big bucks.

i agree that lomo really does overcharge. but it was through their marketing/ publicity that i discovered rangefinder cameras. nearly paid $150 for a fed 5 from lomo!!!

thankfully i found this wonderful community where the passion lies more in the cameras and photography... not making dollars and cents.

still, it doesnt mean there is no extravagance on cameras...

with the infection of GAS passed on from one member to another ....

Check out the T012, it's wild. Looks like a 50s camera, but with an LED display on the top, and AE. I've never seen this camera before; I presume it's a fixed lens. I wonder how many weeks it would work for before you got an error display?

I've a feeling the other Yasuhura has some issues with back focus, and possible light leaks from the shutter - there's a page on it on Cameaquest, I believe...
