First Rodinal Results

Wow! Rodinal and APX 100. Just beautiful.
Thanks for everyone's help, if it wasn't for Rangefinderforum I never would have known about this combination. I'll attach a sample. (Not a great photo, but it was just to burn some film quickly so I could process it.)

Very nice. Looks like you did a great job scanning also. Which scanner?

Thanks!

1+50 at 20 degrees. 13 minutes, agitating for the first 30 seconds and then 3 inversions (10 sec.) per minute afterwards.

I want to try some other films also. fp4 and maybe efke 25 or 50.

The scanner is the epson 4990. Thanks, I just got it. It's been really nice for film, and a LOT cheaper than a designated film scanner for 120 film.

shaakti, I use Rodinal and DDX as my standrad developers.
If you plan to use EFKE 25, 1+100 is the best dilution (you'll need 600ml for a 120)
Time is about 10 minutes and try to keep agitation to once every other min to harness the contrast.
EFKE 25 is an outstanding film though, the 35mm negatives are great both in wet lab and electronic (scan)

FP4 looks good too, but expect a lot more grain than you are used to.

Examples are EFKE 25 in ROdinal 1+100 for 10 minutes (68F)
Agitation 1st 30 seconds, and then every 2 minutes

APX It gives us the nicer grays/It gives the cleanes whites/Makes you think all the world’s a sunny day, oh yeah/I got a nikon camera/I love to take a photograph
MAMA DON'T TAKE MY APX AWAY........

I'm also impressed by the combination APX & Rodinal; tried it for the first time yesterday, see attached images.

1+50, 13 min, 20C, agitation first 30 seconds and then one inversion every 30s, as in this thread.
