Roger Hicks -- Author of The Rangefinder Book

Roger Hicks is a well known photographic writer, author of The Rangefinder Book, over three dozen other photographic books, and a frequent contributor to Shutterbug and Amateur Photographer. Unusually in today's photographic world, most of his camera reviews are film cameras, especially rangefinders. Correct exposure

...is a meaningless concept, but perfect exposure isn't. A perfect exposure gives you the results you want, but you have to know what you want and have some idea of how to get to it. Now the site is all free, some people may find this module (on exposing negative films) to be interesting:

The module on slide and digi is nothing like as useful and is being revised.

Cheers,

R.

Hi Roger

Great news that the site is now free. I have downloaded most of your modules over the past year as a subscriber and they have enlightened and enlivened my photography. I can't say that I hit the 'perfect' exposure every time but at least I now know what I'm aiming for.

Cheers

Chris
