Some E-P1 size comparison pics

Even though I had handled an E-P1 briefly in the store, I didn't really get a sense of the size until I had mine in hand and could compare it to my own cameras directly.

So, since I'm waiting for the E-P1 battery to charge, I broke out a variety of bodies and took some side-by-sides pictures: GRD, M6TTL, RD1, various Nikon DSLRs, MF cameras, a Holga, etc.

I've posted the pictures here:

Hopefully useful for someone...

I suppose I should have done the thickness at the same time. But I did not. Basically it seems about as thick as an M6TTL, or FM2.

Great to get an impression of size. Not just on the EP-1, but on the rest of the lot as well.. who'd have thought a D3 isn't really much smaller than a Pentax67..

Might be useful to compare with various digicams too: because the E-P1 is, in effect, the same kind of instrument with a larger sensor and interchangeable lenses.
