A street near where I live. The mountain that looks so close in the background is Cheyenne Mountain. It looks like it's very close, but it is actually 8 miles to the south! This was also a very hazy day, the 950nm IR cut filter sees right through atmospheric haze. Taken with the Olympus C-2100UZ at 380mm (35mm equiv).

Brighton seafront, England - half a mile down the road. View from the Fortune of War pub window (took three pints of beer to get the shot I wanted!)...

Sausalito is across the bay on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Fabulous collection of photos.

I photographed my old neighbourhood in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada extensively. Here is the link to the photos from South End.

My new neighbourhood in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada is bellow. Both shots are from Yashica mat 124g:

Great thread; when people post photos from places they live or have lived, you get a glimpse which you normally wouldn't. Some very good photos and enjoyable browsing.

I grew up here, in a small town by the sea in Iceland...

just a short walk from a fish factory...

But now I'm in London, south of the river. I live in that monster in the background.

I get off the ferry and walk to the big tower. I actually feel I get away from the city because I live by the river...

All shot on Konica Hexar AF.
