Charles & Ray Eames - their films were nothing short of incredible, especially Powers Of Ten and the instructional film they made for the Polaroid SX-70 (which includes brilliant images from said camera taken by C&R).

Chris, the last I saw, they are still dating. But I don't know how reliable that is. It is hard to find good info on Sherman, she keeps to herself.

Byrne is a really good photographer, too.

There is a brief video on my blog about a show Sherman did last year- some really cool portraits of upper society women, and of course, she used herself as the model.

You know, it is hard to believe that she is 54 years old now.

Cartier-Bresson and Martine Franck

Bresson and Leica? (at least I have a platonic love relationship with my camera)

Hey, I'm single. Any women photographers/artists out there looking for their Steiglitz? haha. sigh.

The famous, hyper talented, internationally acclaimed, and oh so adorable team of Lupo and Riley...

It's a lie, of course.....except for maybe the adorable part.

Gerda Taro and Robert Capa otherwise known as Gerta Pohorylle and Endre Ernő Friedmann are my two faves. No need to guess why they changed their names! Capa is a bit of a hero of mine as my father was also Hungarian Jewish (and a bit of a scallywag like Capa.)

This is a great thread. I'd never heard of Martine Franck before this thread and I just googled her images and wow.

I can see why they were together.

No list would be complete without mentioning Annie Leibovitz and the late Susan Sontag.

Will you guys settle for an infamous couple in photography? (After seeing Vince's shot, I had to.)

Galfriend and me, outtake from 2005 Christmas/Hanukkah card.

(Technical: see that Hexar?)
