Few night shots with J-12 on Kiev 4AM

I'd like to share some pics from my last roll. Those were shot with J-12 mounted on my 1976 Kiev 4A.

Nice. Is the J-12 your main lens for your Kiev?

No ... i have J-8, J-8M, J-12 and J-9. I use them depending on the situation. Occasionally i mount also a 50mm colapsible Sonnar from my Contax. But to this pics i mounted 35 mm J-12.

Very nice B&W! That's a very hard test for any lens - and no flare from the lights!

A situation like this is bound to be high-contrast. What developer and contrast filters did you use?

I was thinking the same thing. I always wondered why some people slagged the J-12 so much and these photos say it can perform. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Good performance for such an old design. My screw mount J-12 also did well, though I did not take any night shots with it such as these.
