Re-invented Kievs

Just a thought , I am creating my Enigmas from Kiev IIa and IIIa with a rare-ish [ ? ] plain meter cover Kiev 4 1958 for good measure .

Specials inevitably seem to be based on lesser Kiev 4 / 4a .

However , it occoured to me that these are to be both my prime users and also costing me a considerable sum , so why waste money on a humble Kiev 4 or 4a ?

So using the most classic models seems to make more sense ... using a Kiev III , or Kiev III with IV meter is so much more atisfying to me ...
and the donors were not so expensive - £50 or so ....

but i am not permitted to post paint unless it is waterbased , so it's difficult now .
