HP Scanjet 8300
Hi all,

The school where I work are getting rid of an HP Scanjet 8300 flatbed scanner with all of the negative attachments. I've been offered this as they know I enjoy photography and would rather see it used than go in the bin.

Has anyone here ever used one? Do you have any opinions, good or bad? For the price it looks great but it's nice to know if people have had experience of something.

For your information I'd be using it on MAC OS 10.4 but I don't know what scanning software I'd be using yet.
