Kodak Ultramax

I saw some of this film both 400 and 800 at CVS today and was wondering if it is any good??

Any samples???

Don't have samples ready to hand, but the ASA 400 version gives results of reasonable quality. The faster one is not sold in my country.

Pretty sure this 400UC is the 120 version.



It was very hazy but I thought the film did a good job. So did my old Rolleicord Va.

I don't think 400UC had anything to do with Ultramax. I have tried the 800 Ultra and it was truly horrible.

I've used some UltraMax in the past and if memory serves me right the slower versions were OK but the 800 was bad.

From what I've seen UltraMax 400 is much better than old Kodak Max 400 films (which was pretty awful).
