Zeiss Contax Forum for the classic Zeiss Contax I, II, III, IIa, IIIa , G series, and if you want to push it, the nice Contax point and shoots. Some spill over from the Kievs, the Soviet copy of the Contax II/III can also be expected. Plus the ONLY production camera ever made in classic Zeiss Contax Rangefinder mount WITH TTL metering ... the Voigtlander Bessa R2C.

wow, more beautiful images, mauro! Like them all, but especially the first one. Lovely copmposition, and you could not have asked for better placement of the people in the scene if you tried.

Dear Mauro,

You'll have to stop posting good pictures or you'll be thrown off the forum for not droning on enough about equipment.

I like these even more than the Summicron thread, which sort of argues that your ability is more important than the kit you use.

Cheers,

Roger

Love that first photo great composition and that uncoated Sonnar gives a look that is priceless. All these couples--makes me wonder if they put something in the Roman water.

I see. The subtle flare made me think it was uncoated. The more I look at that photo, the more I like it.

Mauro,

I feel that these photos are more successful than the summicron images. When I viewed the summicron images, I felt that the images were not very well resolved in terms of the foregrounds, backgrounds, or even the gestures or moments of the people. It seems that most of the elements are there in these images, especially the moments and the gestures of the people.

Very beautiful to view.
