Hi, I went to the local voigtlander shop/distributor here in Bangkok and they fixed it. He told me that there were not any broken screws or anything broken inside, it just needed to be 'tightened' up.....it feels really solid now and it focuses good so I am happy....i am assuming that it is out of warranty because I have had it for a couple of years.....

This may have to go on a list of the best comments ever on RFF.
By the way, I do very much agree.

Just the fact that the question is asked means more than the fact that it is in fact unanswerable. Just getting consideration is most important.

Michael, those images you've been posting are really really beautiful. Only one thing that I dislike: they seem to bee extra sharpened. it gives the images a weird texture. I'm not sure if you're scanning them yourself or it's the lab's, but it might be something to keep an eye on. regardless, stunning photos!

Thanks umcelinho, I appreciate that nice comment, very cool of you...........I do not do any post processing (photo shop) to these photos....I have the lab scan them......I love the colors and the grain in the film that I use (Kodak Pro Image 100) and I like the way the lab scans it.....thanks for your reply........
cheers, michael

danke!! but to be fair, those were with an r-d1, crop factor 1.5x so it acted as a 53mm. still, i was right in front of the stage, only 1 person in front of me. these girls were adorable...

You really exemplify how good color can be rendered with the r-d1. The Cv 1.2 + R-D1 ftw
