Bessa R3A and 50 frame line

OK. I'n new here and i have just ordered my R3A. I'm in love with this camera since I held it on my hand. But I found It's abit ironic when It has 40 and 50 frame line. Why you need 50 when 40 & 50 is not much different at focal lenght?

In case you own a 50mm lens? The R3 is a better camera for 50's than the R2/R2m/R2a cameras because it has larger 50mm frames and higher RF magnification for better focus accuracy. I wouldn't mind having one for 50mm lenses
