I just brought an M2 as well to go along with my M6. I should hopefully get it sometime this week. I look forward to shooting with it.

Congrats! It's all the Leica you will ever need. Of course some need more than one M2...

I'd suggest, filmfan, that you start with a fast 35 and add an 85 or 90 if or when your budget allows that.

As payasam said ... first get a 35/2.0 (Summicron-M), later add a 90mm (Elmarit-M 90/2.8, Tele-Elmarit 90/2.8, or Summicron-M 90/2.0) and you are done. (A cheap, small lightmeter could be helpful, too !)

I have a meter. I will be looking for a VC Nokton 35mm f/1.4 SC or MC as my first lens. Next after that will be a 90mm.
