Well, after keeping folks here posted on the M8 deals to be had at Robert White and just having received my M8 a couple of weeks ago, I was ready to take my M8 on little road trip. Scheduled to attend a photography related conference in Albuquerque next week, I was planning to spend the next seven days shooting along Route 66 and in other places in the Southwest. Then fate reared its ugly head. While performing the typical male Saturday morning chore (taking out the garbage), I slipped on the ice and broke my wrist (dominant hand, of course). Arrrrgh!
Three pins put everything back in place, but sure wreaked havoc on my well laid plans.
Once my wrist is in a cast (the orthopedic surgeon wanted to wait for the swelling to subside), I should be able to run my DSLR in a workable manner (photography is my profession). Any tips on using a rangefinder left-handed? There's just something wrong with leaving a new camera unused!
