Where can I buy extra leica film spools?

Hello all,

thanks, michael

p.s. I am based in Bangkok and searching at camera swap meets is not really an option....

Will the barnack spools fit the M camera as well? I see some old Russian made spools that they say will fit Leica...

I was always led to believe that the Barnack spools will not fit the M cameras, with the possible exception of the IIIG.

KEH in the U.S. sometimes has them, and they occasionally come up on ebay. Try to buy them before you need one. I search fairly regularly, and buy them whenever I see a good deal.

Once I bought one of those FSU spools which the seller claimed would work in my M3; it didn't. I don't know about the Barnack ones.
