Students will be encourage to develop coherent stories or themes that will be the basis of their work in the following days. In the evening the teachers will formally present their work in a public screening.

February 20th-23rd:
Each morning students will meet with their group leaders for individual classes, going over work as it is created, and editing images daily. We have an arrangement to hold the workshops this year at the Alliance Francais which is located just off the main parade route on St Charles Avenue.

February 25th:
The day after Mardi Gras, the work will be edited for a public presentation and a closing soiree.

2008 was the inaugural year for the Mardi Gras 360 Degree Photo Workshop. We had 27 students and a terrific faculty that included Stanley Greene, Lori Waselchuk, Karen Mullarkey, Alan Chin, Chris Usher, and Jeremy Lange. Sessions where held at the McKenna Museum for African-American Art. Our closing slideshow and exhibit was at the Jazz and Heritage Foundation Gallery.
