I'm pretty sure that sentiment goes both ways, at least for me :P

Would have loved to have been in Vancity during this dump of snow they're experiencing. I can only imagine all the photo ops that produced! Can't imagine though how the locals fared with a couple feet of snow on the ground/streets - I recall being in the city one winter where it snowed a few inches & it seemed like chaos!

Great shots - especially the last two, which have a great feel. I miss Vancouver.
Please post more.

Is it not strange that the people living in the very hot places on earth and want some relief express envy abput cooler climate places like Vancover? They should come to Minneapolis, MN USA for a few weeks in December or January, They would go screaming back to the airport and beg to be put on the first plane out after a few days of experiencing are -20 C weather and weekly snow storms.......... chuckle chuckle - Michael

P.S. I have seen way to many snow scenes in my life, so the photos are old hat to me.but not bad photos..... really. if one wants to see lots of snow scenes, just come to Minnesota between November and April and they can see all the snow scenes they want and more....
Personally I prefer beach scenes with sparsly clad young women in them. But I was born in the wrong state for that .......Darn!!!

Hey Florian, sorry I wasn't watching this thread closer. To answer your question, I used a Fed 5C w/ a 55mm f/2.8 Industar 61 L/D.
