With a dip in the average temps this time of year, I am just looking forward to getting out and doing anything! Maybe the XP and the lovely little 27. Hard to put down!

Friends of mine, at least one of them into photography, are visiting the city from Belgium so we'll be shooting around. I'll be shooting with M2 and Elmar-M 50/2.8 loaded with Neopan 400.

I used the M8 with the Nokton (for the Prominent) at the beach for some photos. Amedeo sent me a new adapter for it.

Summer potluck picnic gathering for county political party, with candidates showing up and even our congress-critter, interesting conversations. On a ranch well up the slopes of the valley, with towering plumes of smoke from area wild-fires in the distance. Using chrome M8 with the little 35mm C-Biogon. (Oh... when in for a checkup the other day my doctor asked, "What's with the antique camera?" LOL)

Sunday, maybe a walk in the park will be smarter than trying to get closer to the smoke...

It is weekend, and most of us have some time to spend on photography. I will take out the family, as usual on weekends. My M9 is still with Leica Camera INC, so I will use the M8.

What are you up to?

Burnouts on Main Street... guys in their hotrods burning rubber, ordinarily considered reckless driving. It's "run what you brung" in a nearby smaller town so it should be interesting, maybe some photos...

Continue work on building a dedicated darkroom!

Pick photo for RFF Postcard project.

Make some B & W and COLOR prints in my current basement darkroom.

Ugh. I awoke to the blur of an empty bottle of tequila and at least two bottles of wine -well, that is what I have found so far.

I knew I had camera(s) out.

Somewhere around 500 images later ... I am apparently quite the dancer.

I shot a forties WW2 event in Lytham yesterday (Sat) with a DP3M and an M3 / 50 ZMC Sonnar , XP2.

Today the weather seems to have taken a turn for the worse so nothing planned as yet.

I had to head out to Sacto to meet up this morning withe my sister who was in town for the morning. Afterwards it was a rather less then stellar drive back to the bay area, and I stopped at Mare Island to shot the rest of the roll I had started that morning. I found the LCS 102 was open for business and took the tour, have to say it was one of the better WWII museum ships I've been on. Plus they were OK with me tramping around with the S3 taking photos.

End of summer heating up here. Got out briefly with my new Nex 6 yesterday and visited a small local town with a new micro distillery. Today? A new micro brewery is having a grand opening downtown. Time for some film.

I will find a lens that I have not used for years. Then I will use it.

And another week gone! Long weekend in front of us, at least here in the states.

I am shooting more film and I have plans on doing my first ever Caffenol run! In fact, I just bought my last component, a classic mortar and pestle to aid in content prep before mixing.

Iím shooting an outdoor wedding tomorrow, and its supposed to rain. Iíve spent the entire day coming up with a Plan B in case weíre forced inside. The bride wants B&W, so Iíll be shooting all film in my Leica MP and my Rolleiflex 6006. Debating now whether I should bring along my Nikonos.......

I'll be going to my first-ever fan convention on Saturday (sci-fi/anime/games/whatever) and am looking forward to shooting crazy cosplay fans and such. Debating which camera(s) to take to complement the obligatory DSLR. Maybe the Hi-Matic 11, it hasn't had much love recently, although it's heavy. I'm tempted to take the Voigtlander Brillant instead though.

This thread has crossed the one million views limit! It is about RFF friends sharing news. I like it.

Just a few minutes ago, I documented the first lemonade stand "business venture" for my daughters!

My day bag has the M9 fitted with Color-Skopar 28mm f/3.5 and M4-2 fitted with Color-Skopar 50mm f/2.5 in it. Also a light meter and the Color-Skopar 35mm f/2.5. So I'm going to have a little Skopar party on this morning's walk. ;-)

That time of the week again, my favorite!

Another run of Caffenol coming this weekend and the local Greek Festival is always a good time, and good eats. I think I will shoot some digital.

It is again weekend, and we have an excuse to take out our cameras and lenses and to have fun with them. I will use the M8 and M9 again, and I hope that at least one image comes out very well.

What are you doing this weekend?

Itís a cold, blustery, dark-sky kind of day in northern Michigan. Figured I take my MP, loaded with Tri-X, and head off to one of the last street fairs of the season in a small town about 30 minutes away. Plus we can also enjoy the fall color (almost at it's peak) along the way.
