I once part-exed an OM for an EOS in one of the big stores in Shinjuku. They were very firm on the prices they offered and I got no where near the price I paid for the Olympus. I would try to sell privately to get the best price for your gear.

I had a Kodak retina 1 of some sort that a used camera store was selling for 14,000 yen and they offered 3000 yen. They buy low and mostly sell way high, and repairs are insanely costly as well. I think it must be a wealthy Leica or Nikon collectors paradise though as they have everything imaginable, for a price.
