Dierk - very nice mood and I especially like your BW processing!
I think, if you shot these in a series, which also includes the musicians face in focus, they would work very well.

In the second photo, I was first hunting for focus in her face, although the details about the violin are beautifully worked out this way (a big print with the violin in life size would look breathtaking, I suppose).

I imagine a two print set in A2 - one of the second image and one with a portrait of the musician up front I just made a few 13x19 close up portraits with a Noct-Nikkor wide open and love the play with razor thin dof very close up - some real magic can be had with these lenses.

I'm shooting for a couple weeks (no pun intended), probably around the 15th-ish.... Time is going faster than I want, but I'll know more on the 6th. I'm getting money to get out of my job so if I get it paid soon, no problem coming to visit!
